he's one of mama's lil brother. we used to be quite close. close in a sense that i felt the easyness and comfortability of him and his family being around. we seldom meet. but each meeting seemed to be very fine and pleasant. perhaps it was because of the sincerity of him being an uncle to me and my siblings. we seldom talk. after salam salam and asking 'apa habaq', then it would be just smiling to each other afterwards. huhu. but one word will surely came out from his mouth each time was - 'kesian'. i guessed that's just his way of showing his care towards us. hihi..

he suffered from a liver problem. it seemed to be quite serious months ago. but the docs kinda fixed it. until around four weeks ago, he had a sudden stroke. his hand was unable to move that the sons brought him to the hospital for a check-up. it was found out that there was a clot in the brain. they tried their best for him, the sons. and docs as well. to cut short, they had to remove the life support, as his heart was failing gradually. mama texted me at around 6.30 pm on saturday, 'un daud dah tak dak'. there was silence in the room, for a moment..

i drove up to kangar that evening. aunty decided to settle all the stuffs after isya'. everything went well. uncle daud had great wife, sons and daugthers, and daughter in laws, and lots of kind and helpful friends and neighbours around him in his life and during his moment of leaving the world. i could feel that there was quite a shock among them, of losing him in a sudden. yes, it was quite a sudden. but i believed that the family, and the friends, have always being ready of letting him go, uniting the creator.
